Army: Arrest of one person in Arsal for assaulting army

Army units arrested the wanted person, Mohammed Walid Hujairi, in the area of Arsal area, for assaulting earlier an army patrol and causing the martyrdom of two army members and the wounding of others, Army Command-Guidance Directorate said in a communiqué on Wednesday.

The army also arrested a Syrian national for possessing papers showing his affiliation to a terrorist group.

The two arrested persons were handed over to the concerned judiciary, with investigations getting underway.
