The Civil Defence's General Directorate issued a statement on Friday saying that its teams successfully rescued citizens who were trapped in their cars at the entrance of the city of Jezzine.
Harsh weather brought upon by storm Zina caused the cars to be stuck, leading to stifling traffic.
The rescue operation saw the roads reopen to traffic.
