Army units arrested Saturday 2 suspects and raided an arms' storage place in the town of Britel, containing military rifles, machine-guns and rocket-propelled grenades and ammunition, and also raided a drugs warehouse in Dar Wasi'a, an Army Guidance Directorate communiqué indicated.
Army units are also tracking down the shooters involved in the Btedi'i incident.
This came within the framework of the Army's pursuit of wanted suspects and its fight against organized crimes of all kinds, whereby it executed extensive raids in the region of Baalbek and its surroundings, including the towns of Britel, Dar Wasi'a, Sharawna, Kanisa and Iaat, the Army communique added.
