Severe clashes took place along the Eastern Mountain Series on Sunday afternoon, in wake of an attack by a group of armed militants on a Hezbollah checkpoint in the outskirts of Britel, which resulted in several casualties among the armed militants.
Meanwhile, hightened clashes were also registered in the outskirts of Yuneen along the Eastern Mountain Series as well, with the sound of rocket bomb explosions heard in villages falling east of Baalbek.
