Assassination attempt on General Security senior Brigadier

Deputy President of the Islamic Shiite Supreme Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, on Friday condemned the cruel attempt to assassinate General Security senior Brigadier Abbas Ibrahim, saying that such attempt bears dangerous indications of the presence of a terrorist plan against Lebanon's sovereignty and security.

He thereby called upon all Lebanese to stand beside the Lebanese military and security forces and boost adherence to them amidst the current critical challenges.
