وطنية - إنطلقت مسيرات جماهيرية غاضبة بعد صلاة غروب اليوم في مخيمات الرشيدية والبص والبرج الشمالي والقاسمية، يتقدمها قيادة حركة "فتح" في منطقة صور والشعب التنظيمية، وجابت شوارع المخيمات نصرة للاقصى ودعما للأهالي في القدس وجنين ونابلس وكل فلسطين، واستنكارا لاقتحام الاحتلال الصهيوني للمسجد الأقصى والتنكيل بالمصلين واعتقال المئات من أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني، بهدف كسر إرادتهم الوطنية في مواصلة كفاحهم لتحقيق حلمهم بإقامة دولتهم المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس الشريف".

Part-time and full-time professors at the Lebanese University stage a sit-in near by Baabda Presidential Palace to demand the Cabinet to approve several decrees

The cabinet session was held at the presidential palace in Baabda under the chairmanship of President Michel Aoun. A meeting between Mikati and Aoun took place before the session, while Lebanese University lecturers demonstrated near the Baabda Palace demanding their tenure.

Depositors demonstrate in downtown Beirut against the draft capital control law

Angry depositors gathered in Downtown Beirut near Parliament to demonstrate against the draft capital control law. Protestors prevented some MPs from attending a joint parliamentary committee session of the Finance and Budget Committee and the Administration and Justice Committee, which was scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. 

Cry of the Depositors calls for a sit-in in Downtown Beirut to protest the capital control draft law

Dozens of protesters gathered in Downtown Beirut to voice their objections to the capital control bill that was being discussed in a joint parliamentary committee meeting. The activist group Cry of the Depositors called for the mobilization. The committee session ended without the bill being referred to Parliament for a full vote. Discussions will resume next Tuesday. 

Students and teachers at the Lebanese University stage a sit-in outside Najib Mikati's residence in Mina to demand full-time positions for contract professors and better working conditions for all employees

وطنية - نفذ الأساتذة المتعاقدون والمدربون والطلاب في الجامعة اللبنانية اعتصاما أمام منزل رئيس الحكومة نجيب ميقاتي في الميناء- طرابلس، للمطالبة ب"إقرار ملف التفرغ وإنصاف الأساتذة المتعاقدين اسوة بباقي أفراد الهيئة التعليمية في الجامعة، وتسوية اوضاع المدربين، واعادة النظر بصورة عاجلة ونهائية بموازنة الجامعة التي ان اقرت بالوضع الحالي لا تكفي لتشغيل الجامعة لمدة شهرين".

وطنية - اعلنت لجنة مستخدمي ومتعاقدي وأجراء مستشفى رفيق الحريري الحكومي الجامعي في بيان انه "بعد انسداد كل السبل وانقطاع التواصل مع  المعنيين بملف مستشفى رفيق الحريري الحكومي الجامعي، واعتكاف المديرة العامة المكلفة بإدارة المستشفى، وتغيب رئيس مجلس الإدارة المكلف عن السمع وعدم تجاوبه، قرر العاملون التوجه نحو وزارة الصحة العامة للتجمع والإعتصام عند الساعة 11:00 من قبل ظهر اليوم".

وطنية - افاد مندوب "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" بأن قوة من الجيش أعادت فتح اوتوستراد خلدة في الاتجاهين بعدما كان قطع لبعض الوقت من قبل مجموعة من الشبان للمطالبة باطلاق موقوفي احداث خلدة. وقد تسبب قطع الطريق بزحمة سير خانقة بدأت تخف تدريجا.

Contract teachers in secondary school strike to demand better living conditions

وطنية - اصدرت لجنة متعاقدي الثانوي مختلف التسميات البيان التالي: "ان اتخاذ رابطة التعليم الثانوي قرارا بالإضراب التحذيري للمطالبة بأمور معيشية محقة نحن واياهم محرومون منهامحق وصرختهم محقة، وعسى ان يصل تحذيرهم للمعنيين. ولكن هل يجوز لرابطة تمثل اساتذة في التعليم الثانوي ان تسهو عن ما هو لاحق بشريحة كبيرة من الاساتذة المتعاقدين وتضررهم من الإضرابات؟ وهل يجوز ان نحرم من ساعاتنا وقوت اولادنا؟

وطنية - نفذت "اللجنة التأسيسة لتجمع اهالي شهداء و جرحى ومتضرري إنفجار مرفأ بيروت" وقفتها الشهرية على بوابة الشهداء رقم (3) للمرفأ، تحدث خلالها رئيسها الناطق بإسم أهالي الشهداء إبراهيم حطيط موجها تهنئة للبنانيين مسيحيين ومسلمين بالصوم المشترك هذا العام "آملا في ان يكون هذا الصوم رسالة إلهية للوحدة بما فيه من تعاليم وقيم مشتركة في مواجهة دعاة الفتنة والتفرقة والمذهبية من زعماء بنو زعاماتهم على قوانين مذهبية بالية كقانون الإنتخابات التي يتصارعون عليها" .

Families of Beirut blast victims march from Gemmayzeh to the Statue of the Emigrant to demand justice and truth

Dozens protested near the Beirut port to mark 20 months since the August 4, 2020, explosion. The demonstration was organized by the families of the victims, who marched from Beirut’s Gemmayzeh neighborhood to the port to demand justice. During the march, the protesters held up portraits of their relatives who were killed by the blast, along with those of the injured. They held a sit-in at Statue of the Emigrant at the exact time of the tragedy, 6:17 p.m.
