وطنية - نفذ عمال وأجراء مرفأ طرابلس وقفة تضامنية أمام مقر النقابة في حرم المرفأ، رفضا للواقع الاقتصادي والمعيشي المتردي وسياسة تجويع الناس المتمثلة برفع الدعم عن المواد الأساسية لاسيما المحروقات والدواء والقمح، وذلك تلبية لدعوة الاتحاد العمالي العام، ورئيس نقابة عمال مرفأ طرابلس أحمد السعيد، وتضامنا مع دعوة اتحاد النقل البري في لبنان. وأكد السعيد في كلمة التضامن مع الاتحاد العمالي العام ونقابات السائقين العموميين، وقال: "نشاركهم صرختهم فمطالبهم محقة"، شاكرا لقيادة الجيش والمؤسسات العسكرية والأمنية وقيادة الجمارك والأمن العام جهودهم في سبيل الحفاظ على أمن المرفأ.

Tripoli port workers carried out a sit-in in front of the Union of Port Workers headquarters at the invitation of the General Labor Union and the head of the Tripoli Port Workers Union Ahmad Al-Saeed, and in solidarity with the land transport unions which began a three-day strike on Wednesday. The protestors denounced lifting subsidies from basic needs like fuel, medicine and wheat. Al-Saeed stressed in a speech that “we share [the land transport unions'] cry, their demands are rights,” thanking the army leadership, military and security institutions and customs for their efforts to maintain the security of the port.
