وقع إشكال في منطقة جديدة المتن بعدما قرّر أصحاب أحد المولدات إضافة ساعات التقنين الكهربائي، بدءاً من السادسة من مساء اليوم، وحتى الحادية عشرة ليلاً، من دون سابق إنذار للأهالي. وقوبل التقنين الإضافي بموجة غضب وسخط، وتجمهر المشتركون بالقرب من المولد، في شارع كنيسة مار أنطونيوس، قبل أن تُجرى اتصالات للتهدئة ما اضطرّ صاحب المولد إلى تشغيله من جديد.
