اعتبرت الهيئة التنفيذية لرابطة الأساتذة المتفرغين في الجامعة اللبنانية في بيان أن "نجاح الإضراب والاعتصام اللذين نفذا أمس هو رسالة تحذيرية أولى وصرخة مدوية ضد أي محاولة لخفض الرواتب أو للمس بالخدمات الاجتماعية التي يجسدها في الجامعة صندوق تعاضد الأساتذة أو للمس برواتب المتقاعدين".
