أعلنت لجنة متابعة موظفي مستشفى الشحار الغربي الحكومي في بيان، "الإضراب المفتوح إبتداء من اليوم وحتى تحقيق المطالب، بسبب الظروف الصعبة التي يمر بها موظفو المستشفى بشكل خاص والأوضاع الإقتصادية المتردية، حيث أن الوزارة المعنية لم تمول السلسلة لحينه والإدارة المعنية لهذه المؤسسة لم تطبق القانون 46/2017 والمرسوم رقم 3374 إسوة بالمؤسسات العامة لإدارة المستشفيات الحكومية".
