Security forces clash with Mansourieh residents over power lines
A clash broke out between security forces and residents of Mansourieh over the installation of high-voltage power lines.
Installation of the power lines was meant to begin Tuesday, but work was temporarily stopped after residents of Mansourieh marched in protest to one of the two installation sites, located within private property.
The scuffle, which involved Kataeb MP Elias Hankash, occurred after security forces arrived on the private site to oversee the protest, local TV channel MTV reported.
