Collective Action

"Mousharaka- sharing in times of crisis" is gathering to help those affected following the Beirut port explosion

Since the evening of the explosion there are thousands of volunteers on the street, transporting the wounded, removing the debris, giving first aid, cleaning the streets or distributing food, water and medication. We, the initiators of this campaign, are also on the street, trying to give a hand wherever it is needed but also assessing what is needed in the upcoming days and weeks. Currently, we are in need of everything: food, medication, cleaning material, as well as nylon, wood and basic tools for repairing. We are one of many initiatives on the ground, and it seems like a small light in a very dark tunnel witnessing the amount of people helping and supporting. Many people contact us from outside asking what they can do - and the only answer we have is to donate or collect money for these campaigns. We are in desperate need of money from outside Lebanon in order to continue our support
