A Group of people, chanting against Hassan Diab and in favor of Saad Hariri, organised a sit-in at Corniche el Mazraa and subsequent altercations with security forces
وطنية - أفاد مندوب "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" أن عمليات كر وفر تسود قرب جامع عبد الناصر، في منطقة كورنيش المزرعة، بعد أن قامت وحدات الجيش بفتح الطريق وإبعاد المحتجين، الذين يقومون بإطلاق المفرقعات النارية وبرمي الحجارة وإشعال المستوعبات واغلاق الطريق باتجاه المتحف.
ويحاول بعض أبناء المنطقة تهدئة الاجواء لمحاولة ثني المحتجين عن إطلاق المفرقعات، فيما تقوم عناصر وحدات الشغب مع عناصر من الجيش بمنعهم من اغلاق الطرق.
وطنية - أفاد مندوب "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" أن قوات مكافحة الشغب بدأت بإطلاق القنابل المسيلة للدموع على الشبان المحتجين في كورنيش المزرعة، الذين رموا القوى الأمنية بالحجارة والإطارات المطاطية.(tear gas)
