Maasser el Chouf killing

In Maasser al-Shuf, civilians were attending a funeral in the church. When the attack took place, nine people from the village were killed, and others were killed as they were fleeing, including nine who came from another village, Machghara, to attend the funeral. As a result of this killing, 25,000 Christians fled the area, moving to East Beirut, and its northern, eastern, and southeastern suburbs.
