HI: Urgent Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for Children (including Syrian refugees) in Palestinian Camps in Lebanon
Since April 2013, Handicap international have supported provision of mental health rehabilitation services with special focus on children with mental health problems refugees from Syria living in North and Tyre camps and gatherings.
- Till the end of June, 48 children refugees from Syria have benefited from provision of individual, and/or co-therapy and/or group therapy multidisciplinary mental health rehabilitation services to children based on their needs initially assessed.
- Till the end of June 150 children refugees from Syrai have benefited from the structured psycho-social activities done in both areas.
- Till the end of June, 66 parents refugees from Syria have benefited from the awareness sessions to help them to detect and deal with any potential signs of mental health among their children.
