HI: Disability & Vulnerability Focal Point (DVFP) project

1) Hospital support: technical support to 4 specialized centres of Tripoli receiving injured people and provision of mobility aids, specific items, orthotic and prosthotic appliances

2) Community activities: 7 mobiles teams composed of physiotherapists and social workers providing support through home visits:
- identification and assessment of needs
- awareness/advocacy, advices, support to communities, stakeholders on the inclusion of vulnerable people in their activities
- information on humanitarian assistance in Bekaa (UNHCR registration, NGO’s and local stakeholder’s services…)
- mapping and referrals to existing services for the coverage of basic and specific needs
- emergency rehabilitation cares
- psychological support and counseling
- provision of assistive devices and other specific items
- provision of orthotic appliances
- wound care and advises for injured people
