وطنية - عكار - أفادت مندوبة "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" بأن حشدا من المحتجين من الحراك الشعبي في خيمة إعتصام حلبا، عمد الى الإعتصام أمام محطة التحويل الرئيسية في حلبا، إحتجاجا على إنقطاع الكهرباء عن مدينة حلبا تماما منذ يوم أمس. ثم دخلوا الى مكاتب المياومين في المحطة، وطلبوا منهم الخروج منها وأقفلوها، مطالبين "بمساواة مدينة حلبا بغيرها من البلدات اللبنانية، وخصوصا أن المدينة هي مركز محافظة عكار". كما طالبوا الأهالي من البلدات العكارية كافة بالنزول مع المحتجين من الحراك الشعبي للمطالبة بحقوقهم المشروعة.

Demonstrators blocked al-Nour Square in Tripoli on Friday to protest the unprecedented collapse of the Lebanese lira. Before gathering in al-Nour Square, demonstrators marched through the streets of Tripoli after Friday prayers, calling on residents to join them in denouncing the deterioration of purchasing power and “corrupt leaders' mismanagement” of the economic crisis, L’Orient Today’s correspondent in North Lebanon reported.

A group of protestors stormed into the Social Affairs Ministry Friday demanding to meet Minister Hector Hajjar. According to local media outlets, the protestors removed a picture of President Michel Aoun and hung in its place a banner of the October 17 revolution. Protestors asked Minister Hector Hajjar about the government’s long-awaited ration card program, designed to support the country’s neediest families in light of the full or partial removal of state subsidies on essential goods.
