Protesters stage a sit-in outside the Cybercrime Bureau headquarters in solidarity with activist Tarek Abou Saleh. The Cybercrime Bureau summoned “Lubnan Yantafid" activist Tarek Abou Saleh for interrogation following a lawsuit filed by MP Faisal Karami. Abou Saleh was not informed of the direct reason for the summons, but it is likely that the Tripoli representative was alarmed by some of Abu Saleh’s social media posts regarding Karami's storage of diesel and his attempts to ride the wave of the revolution.

Dozens of demonstrators gathered in front of the Association of Banks of Lebanon headquarters in the Gemmayzeh area of Beirut. The demonstrators marched towards the Grand Serail before arriving in front of the Banque du Liban headquarters in the Hamra neighbourhood. The protesters were decrying the economic situation as well as the informal capital controls enforced by commercial banks on depositors over the past two years, as well as taxes proposed in the new draft budget. The demonstrators carried signs and shouted slogans denouncing the banks' policies. 

وطنية - افاد مندوب "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام " بان عناصر من قوى الأمن الداخلي والجيش اللبناني فتحوا  الطريق  بين بلدتي المغيرية ومزبود، في محلة وردة، والتي كان قطعها عدد من شبان المغيرية، لليوم الثالث على التوالي، احتجاحا على تراجع التغذية بالتيار الكهربائي من معمل بسري. وقد قام العناصر برفع الحجارة والعوائق من الطريق، بعد مفاوضات مع الشبان، الذين استجابوا لطلب القوى الأمنية، وتراجعوا من وسط الطريق .
