As we respond to emergency works in most of the regions whenever needed, MA were at Al Bekaa and Mount Lebanon to relief the Syrian refugees fled from Syria to Lebanon, So we distributed food parcels and Hygiene kits fro 1250 Syrian refugee HHs.

Muslim Aid: aid distribution, healthcare and shelter support

Muslim Aid’s recent humanitarian activity includes distribution of relief packs containing food items, clothes, outerwear, thermals, blankets, coal and mattresses to beneficiaries inside Syria. In addition to this, rugs and hygiene packs have also been distributed to over 2000 refugee families in Lebanon and 500 families in Jordan.
As well as emergency aid, Muslim Aid has also provided healthcare and shelter support to Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon.

At around midday, I arrived in the village with a truck full of food packs, mattresses, mats, blankets and nappies for the refugee families. We had so much stock that the distribution took approximately three hours to complete.

Tdh: Psycho social support for children

Since October 2012, Tdh has set up a programme of psycho social support for children arriving from Syria to South Lebanon. It includes recreational activities, case management, awareness raising and training on child protection. Distribution of dignity and baby hygiene kits are as well organised.

Tdh: aid distribution

In view of the urgency of the situation, Terre des hommes quickly started a broad action of support for the Palestinian and Syrian displaced persons taken in by the Palestinian refugee camps located in the Tyre area, in the south of the country. Within three days, mattresses, blankets and pillows were distributed by the teams on the ground.

Medair: Site Planning and Improvements for Informal Tented Settlements

Site Planning for informal settlements. Standing water and rubbish has collected in many communities which has increased risks of water cross-contamination and water-borne illnesses. Medair is helping settlements to develop drainage and sanitation in several sites to improve the overall health and hygiene of 40 different sites

Medair: Shelter Kits and NFI distribution (household items)

Distribution of shelter kits (including plastic sheeting, vinyl, and wood planks) to improve the durability and resilience of tents against weather and environment. Distribution of basic non-food items to new arrivals to provide families with basic cooking utensils, mattresses, and blankets. Medair is distributing over 5,800 shelter kits and 1,620 non food item kits by the end of the year, serving over 36,000 people.

HI: Food & NFI aid distribution

HI launched this emergency project in mid march and has already recruited a team of 18 persons, set up a stock to receive a total of 2,520 Non Food Items Kits and 2,100 Food Parcels from the United Nation World Food Program.
Whilst assessment started in the 1st week of April, the first distribution took place on the 2nd week of April with a total of 147 households who received a complete package till date. In the coming weeks the teams will work to full capacity with an estimated 350 kits distributed per week until mid June.
