State’s security raids residential complex in Jbeil’s blat, arrests two unlicensed syrian doctors
State Security Tuesday 5 June raided medical clinics operating illegally in north Lebanon's Jbeil, seizing pills and medications, the state-run National News Agency reported. Syrian and Iraqi nationals were working, some as doctors, in the clinics in Jbeil’s Blat. An unspecified number of the foreign nationals were arrested, and State Security began an investigation under the supervision of the judiciary, the NNA said. While qualified non-Lebanese nationals in Lebanon may receive permits to work in nursing, they cannot hold positions as doctors or dentists under any circumstances.
