Jordanian student found dead in Beirut dorm. Investigation.

A Jordanian university student was found dead in his Beirut dormitory room Wednesday morning in an apparent suicide, a security source told The Daily Star. The student, identified as 22-year-old Abdullah Abd al-Rahman Kshoura, attended Lebanese University and lived in a university-run student housing facility in southern Beirut’s Hadath neighborhood. Doctors at Ashrafieh’s Geitawi Hospital later found evidence that Kshoura had consumed a large number of pills, the security source said. A representative from the hospital’s emergency medicine unit could not provide information to The Daily Star on the exact cause of death when contacted Wednesday morning. Internal Security Forces personnel were inspecting Kshoura's bedroom late Wednesday morning to provide further information to the Jordanian Embassy in Lebanon, the state-run National News Agency reported.
