Investigations after man found shot dead

A 45-year-old man was found shot dead Tuesday in north Lebanon, a security source told The Daily Star. The man, identified as Tarek Tony Frangieh, was found in the driver’s seat of a Mercedes car in the parking lot of the Deir Mar Elias Monastery in the Bsharri town of Hadsheet. “He was found with a gunshot to the head, and the preliminary investigations suggests it was a suicide as a result of a family dispute,” the security source said. A gun was reportedly found by Frangieh’s side. Investigations are ongoing, the source added.
