Army raid in Beka sparks shootout with wanted men

An Army raid early Friday in a Bekaa town resulted in an exchange of fire between Army personnel and the wanted men they were searching for, local TV station LBCI reported.
Army Intelligence had arrived to search the house of a man identified as M.H. al-Masri, in the Bekaa's Hor Tala, when Masri and accomplices reportedly fired on the Army to make their escape.

The Army later apprehended Masri and his brother, identified as H. al-Masri, and confiscated their weapons, the state-run National News Agency reported.
