Construction company owners and workers from Akkar stage a sit-in outside Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s residence in Mina to denounce the closure of the Chekka cement factory. Due to the relative shortage and high cost of cement on the market, they cannot work. They are asking PM Mikati to address their demands and find a solution to provide cement, for instance through reopening a cement factory.
