Bassma is assesing damages in Mar Mkhayel following the Beirut port explosion and is also gathering donations

32 houses visited today by our dedicated team of volunteers.
The objective is to evaluate the damages and note the exact measures and dimensions on an assessment sheet, in order to be able to proceed with the reparations the soonest.
The volunteers are organized in groups.
When inside the house, our volunteers try to fix as many things as they can, while providing these families with cooked meals, bread and water.
We will continue the assessment in different zones during the coming week.
Families were so happy to receive us, and we were so happy to be able to help them and draw smiles on their faces
