Karen Rahme
Karen Rahme is currently a lead researcher at Basmeh & Zeitooneh on a three year project examining economies of displacement, in partnership with Sussex University. Her most recent efforts have been on the field in Tripoli, Nabaa and the Beqaa, with both populations of concern and host communities, in order to identify trends and areas of interventions to improve socio-economic conditions for all. She is also a previous Research and Programme officer at The Centre for Social Sciences Research and Action (2019-2020)
Karen holds a BA in political science and international affairs, with high distinction, from the Lebanese American University, as well an MSc in security studies, with merit, from University College London.
