Marwa Boustani
Marwa Boustani is the urban planning and communication officer at UN-Habitat Lebanon. She holds a B.F.A in Graphic Design and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the American University of Beirut. Marwa is currently involved in policy analysis and research on housing, land and property rights for Syrian refugees, and regional planning in Lebanon. She has expertise in the field of urban planning in Lebanon on municipal governance and decentralization, the National Physical Master Plan for the Lebanese Territory, urban heritage, and rural tourism for local economic development in the South of Lebanon. Marwa has also conducted extensive research on scenario planning and urban futures through her internship at the UN-Habitat headquarters in Nairobi in Kenya.
