Methodology of data collection: The data collection for the Human Rights Violations Mapping System is based on active research of reported Human Rights Violations in the local and international media, as well as Human Rights reports conducted by national and international civil society organisations. Moreover a public reporting mechanism is in place, to encourage citizen and public online reporting on violations, which will be later validated by Lebanon Support and/or partners and then mapped to the system. This map should not be considered as a real representation of Human rights violations against Syrian refugees in Lebanon, due to considerable lack of reporting mechanisms, this map and the related reporting system are intended to cover this gap, with time.
