Workers of the Lafarge Jordan Cement Company inaugurate an open-ended strike to demand their labour rights which are denied in the plan presented by Lafarge to the insolvency court. The restructuring plan intends to reduce expenses at the expense of workers by referring more than 70 workers to early retirement, depriving retirees of health insurance, and removing end-of-service benefits, solidarity funds, and grants for employees' children's schooling. Their strike lasted for 102 days, until January 5, 2022
