Teachers strike all over Tunisia to protest against the assault of a teacher and to demand the authorities to take the appropriate measures

Teachers strike to protest against the assault of a teacher in a secondary school in Ben Arous and gather outside the Ministry of Education. They condemn regular assaults of teachers, unsustainable working circumstances of teachers in educational establishments as well as the lack of far-reaching reform in the sector. They demand the Ministry of Education to take the appropriate measures, including issuing a decree criminalizing assault on teachers. The General Federation of Secondary Education called for the strike.
