Smart application drivers start an open-ended sit-in outside the Parliament to demand the extension of the operational lifetime of their vehicles to 10 years, the renewing of their work permits through the Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) without referring to their companies, reducing the service charge deducted by companies to 15 % and aligning companies tariffs with LTRC tariffs. A MP promised them that their demands will be addressed.
