Peace Caravan

Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA) worked on the Peace Caravan project in collaboration with the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relation (IFA) between 2006 and 2008. The project comprised of a series of organized youth talent shows and other cultural activities, aiming to provide a space to reflect on personal traumatic experiences of the war in July 2006. DPNA targeted the youth and local communities in villages that were almost completely destroyed and suffered mass displacement and trauma in South Lebanon. The overall objective was to support the youth to strengthen their conflict management skills and increase “productive solidarity” on conflict-ridden areas.
