Detailed description of violation:
A migrant domestic worker was detained for one week at the General Security underground detention center in Beirut, Adlieh because her status was not regularized with the Lebanese government. This was the fault of the agency though, which had placed her into a family in Lebanon 8 years ago and had failed to legalize her stay in the country. The agency and the family were left unpunished.
