Hundreds of citizens hold a sit-in in Amman's Fourth Circle to protest against a new IMF-backed package of austerity initiatives and the deterioration of the national socio-economic conditions, demanding job opportunities and consistent anti-corruption measures. Several demonstrators expressed also a firm rejection against the new repressive amendments to the Cybercrime Law and demanded the resignation of the parliament
