A“Day of rage” of healthcare staff (doctors, nurses, and other staff) as part of a strike following the death of a 27-year-old surgical resident, Badr Eddine Aloui, who fell from the fifth floor in the Jendouba Regional Hospital due to an elevator dysfunction. The protesters demanded public investment in healthcare facilities, equipment and infrastructure. Protesters also called for urgent reforms in the healthcare sector, calling on the government to commit to immediately fixing basic facilities in public hospitals that represent an imminent danger to the safety and well-being of staff.
