Drivers working on ride-hailing apps (Uber, Careem) inaugurate an open-ended sit-in to demand the amendment of the law preventing Gazawi refugees and children of Jordanian women with a different nationality residing on the Jordanian territory to be hired by the platforms, a period of three months for the drivers not fulfilling the expected legal requirements to regularize their position, the exemption of the drivers from the income tax law, and the extension of the operational life of vehicles from five to seven years
