Description:
Demonstrators march in downtown Amman to protest against the Defense Law and the general increase in prices. They consider there is currently no reason to enforce the Defense Law, and they demand to decrease prices, especially fuel prices. The Governor of Amman had warned that he would prevent any demonstration or march that would violate the Defense Law and other measures enforced to contain Covid-19 spread. However, a huge crowd gathered to march and demonstrate after the Friday prayer. Parties, clan leaders and personalities had called for this march.
