Civil society representatives and youth gathered in front of the Ben Arous Court of First Instance in conjunction with the third court hearing in the case of the death of young Omar Laabidi, urging justice and accountability for those involved in his drowning. On March 30, 37 local civil society organisations had expressed their support for declaring March 31 a national day against impunity, in support of victims of police violence.
