Civil society actors, human rights defenders, politicians and ordinary citizens rallied in front of the Municipal Theater in Tunis to call for the deposition of President Saied and the cancellation of the "coup" to "defend democracy and protect the Constitution." They denounced the exceptional measures decreed by the President of the Republic on July 25 that they describe as a "coup" as well as the presidential decree No. 2021-117 that they consider an attempt by the Head of State to seize all powers.
