Army dismantles bomb in Bekaa

NNA - The Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued Sunday a statement detailing events that lead to the discovery and dismantling of a bomb set to explode near the headquarters of the Baath party in Bekaa.
At four o'clock in the morning, and after the Directorate of Intelligence attained information of the existence of a suspicious object in front of an office party in the locality of Jlala - Central Bekaa, an army unit imposed a security cordon around the site and a military expert dismantled what turned out to be a homemade explosive device weighing about a thousand grams.
