Description: 
Aqaba port workers start an open-ended strike to demand better safety standards at their work place. Their strike comes as a container of chlorine gas blew up on June 27 at the port, killing 13 people and hospitalising more than 200. They suspended their strike on July 4th after one week and after they met with the port director who pledged to adress some of their demands.
