This law introduces social security schemes for agricultural employees and members of agricultural cooperatives. The law establishes the resources of the agricultural social security schemes (contributions, etc.), their financial organisation, the conditions for membership and registration, and the procedures for collecting contributions. Social security schemes in the agricultural sector provide sickness benefits, maternity and death benefits, old age pensions, invalidity, and survivors' benefits.
