Protesters stage a solidarity sit-in outside Mina police station over the arbitrary detention of activist Yahya Mawloud following his interrogation

Protesters staged a sit-in outside Mina police station over the arbitrary detention of activist Yahya Mawloud following his summoning. He was summoned after the candidate running for upcoming legislative elections Omar Arfush filed a complaint against him for libel and defamation (قَدْح وتَشْهِير وذَمّ) based on a post Mawloud published on Facebook. Protesters denounced the illegal detention of Mawloud (he should have been released after his interrogation) as well as a two-tier justice system that is swift in this case, but obstructed for the Beirut port blast and the recent boat sinking.
