Protesters stage a sit-in in Ramlet el Beida in solidarity with four activists who were summoned by State Security. Energy Minister Walid Fayyad filed a lawsuit after he was attacked shoved and accosted by protesters on April 24. Videos circulating on social media show protesters, who identify themselves as belonging to the thawra (revolution) movement of October 2019, shoving Fayad and accusing him of being drunk when a tragedy had occurred a few hours earlier in Tripoli.
