People in Halba stand in solidarity with George Ibrahim Abdullah who's being held in French prisons, at the invitation of the joint leadership of the "Arab Socialist Action Party" and the "People's Democratic Party".

وألقيت كلمات لكل من: شقيق الاسير موريس عبدالله، ممثل القيادة المشتركة طارق الحسين، عضو اللجنة المركزية للجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين أبو جابر، رئيس "ملتقى عكار المقاوم" سفيان طالب وعفيف وهبه، وأجمع المتحدثون على "ضرورة المطالبة بإطلاق سراح عبدالله عبر القوى الوطنية اللبنانية والمقاومة الإسلامية وحركات التحرر العربية لأنه مازال مرتهنا بسجون فرنسا وبضغوط أميركية
