The General Federation of Lebanese Trade Unions organises a demonstration in Martyrs’ Square to protest against mandatory vaccination against Covid-19

A few hundred protesters gathered on Saturday to protest vaccination regulations in Lebanon. The protest against the new measures was organized by the General Federation of Lebanese Trade Unions, whose president, Maroun al-Khouli, told L'Orient-Le Jour that this demonstration "is not against vaccination but against the obligation to vaccinate." Under the banner “Employees Against Mandatory Vaccinations,” Lebanese came to express their opposition to mandating of vaccinations and measures against Covid-19, such as masking and PCR testing.
