Families of kidnapped soldiers stage sit-in in Doures
Families of the kidnapped soldiers staged a sit-in in Doures, and disrupted traffic in both ways, NNA field reporters said.
Protesters brandished slogans and banners in support of the Lebanese military and called for their release regardless of their confessional belonging, reporters added.
Speaking at the behest of the protesters, Tarayya municipal head Mahdi Hamiyeh, highly commended the Body of Moslem Scholars for their mediation efforts with the terrorists and pleaded with people of Ersal to release the soldiers.
A father of one sergeant in terrorist captivity demanded the immediate release of his son while protesters said they intend to renew their moves in support of the army.
