وطنية - عكار - عمد عدد من أبناء عائلات شهداء ومتضرري انفجار التليل الى قطع طريق حلبا - القبيات فجرا، "اعتراضا على قرارات الحكومة اللبنانية التي لم تساو بينهم وبين اهالي شهداء ومتضرري انفجار مرفأ بيروت المشؤوم". ولفتوا الى أن "بعض الشيكات التي صرفتها الهيئة العليا للإغاثة لبعض ذوي الضحايا لم تصرف في المصارف"، بالاضافة الى ما اعتبروه "إهمالا رسميا لقضيتهم وجعلها في الادراج ولاسيما في موضوع التأخير في إقرار القانون الموجود في مجلس النواب  باعتبار الشهداء من المدنيين كشهداء القوات المسلحة لجهة تأمين معاشات تقاعدية للشهداء وضمان صحي لذويهم وكذلك الجرحى المدنيين واعتبار الشهداء والجرحى العسكريين شهداء واجب والجرحى منسوبة اصاباتهم للخدمة الفعلية". وأكد المشاركون في هذا التحرك أن "تحركات احتجاجية منظمة ستليه من  لجنة متابعة قضية انفجار التليل، في العاصمة بيروت وأمام المرافق المعنية بقضيتهم مثل وزارة الصحة والدفاع والعدل والسرايا  وغيرها من المرافق". كذلك، نفذ الأهالي اعتصاما في مكان الانفجار، وعمدوا الى قطع الطريق بين التليل والقبيات بالاطارات المشتعلة "احتجاحا على اهمالهم من قبل المعنيين وخصوصا المصابين منهم الذين لا تزال حروقهم بحاجة الى معالجات دائمة". ورفعوا الصوت عاليا منددين ب"إهمال المسؤولين لأوضاعهم لافتين الى ان من بينهم كثر لا يستطيعون شراء الادوية ولا ثمن العلاج في ظل هذه الظروف المعيشية القاهرة". وناشدوا قائد الجيش العماد جوزاف عون الاهتمام بأمرهم.

Relatives of victims of last August’s explosion of an illegal gasoline tank in the Akkar village of Tleil blocked the road linking Halba to Qobeiyat in North Lebanon on Tuesday, L’Orient Today’s correspondent in the area reported. The explosion, which occurred on the night of August 14, caused the deaths of more than 30 people and injured around a hundred others. Relatives of the victims, who gathered at dawn, claimed that they haven’t been able to receive the compensation provided to them by the Higher Relief Committee for a variety of reasons. They also criticized the delay in the adoption of a law in Parliament that would consider dead and injured civilians as martyrs of the Lebanese Army, which would ensure compensation for their relatives. “Some families have not been able to receive compensation yet, especially those who were just injured in the blast and Syrian refugee victims, who did not receive monetary compensation at all…” Raghida al-Cheikh, the widow of Fadi al-Cheikh who died in the post explosion, told L’Orient Today. “The situation has been chaotic and there is no common consensus on who received or will be receiving compensation.” The demonstrators assured that other protest activities would follow in Beirut, in particular in front of the ministries of health, defense and justice, and at the Grand Serail.
