Demonstrators stage a sit-in outside the Internal Security Forces station on Damascus Road in solidarity with the activists who were summoned after they stormed the Ministry of Social Affairs
Several demonstrators held a sit-in in front of the ISF station on Damascus road on Wednesday, to protest the arbitrary summons of those who had raided the Social Affairs Ministry on November 26. Ali Abbas, Elie Haykal, Charbel Kahy, Amani el-Roz, Haitham Arbid, Sali Hafiz, Yehia Masri are set to be questioned by the ISF. The Social Affairs Minister personally filed a lawsuit against the protesters, after they entered his office, asked him about the fate of the ration card and turned the hung photo of President Michel Aoun upside down.
اعتصم عدد من المحتجّين أمام فصيلة طريق الشام في الأمن الداخلي، اليوم الأربعاء، رفضاً للاستدعاء التعسّفي للمحتجّين الذين كانوا قد دخلوا إلى وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية في 26 تشرين الثاني الفائت. وسيمثل أمام الأمن الداخلي كل من علي عباس وإيلي هيكل وشربل قاعي وأماني الرز وهيثم عربيد وسالي حافظ ويحيى المصري. وقد اتّخذ وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية صفة الادّعاء الشخصي على المحتجّين، بعدما دخلوا مكتبه وساءلوه عن مصير البطاقة التمويلية وقلبوا صورة رئيس الجمهورية ميشال عون المعلّقة على الحائط.
