Abducted man’s family blocks main highway over lack of progress

Relatives of a man who has been missing for 24 days blocked the Barbara highway Friday morning to protest the lack of progress in solving his disappearance. At 7 a.m., protesters and relatives of Joseph Hanoush, who disappeared in the Bekaa region 24 days ago, blocked the Barbara highway near Jbeil with burning tire. Metn MP Elias Hankash asked Lebanon’s security forces to follow up on the issue. An hour after the protest, the road was reopened and the Civil Defense team in Jbeil extinguished the burning tires.
